Teresa - Relationship therapist / EMDR specialist

I am a qualified and experienced integrative therapist with a background of working with children, young people in schools and colleges, young adults and staff at university and with couples on both a short and long-term basis. I have lived and worked extensively in many countries. My area of specialism is EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), which is a form of psychotherapy used in the treatment of trauma and PTSD (Post-traumatic Stress Disorder) and can also be used for a wide range of other issues including amongst others anxiety, depression, panic attacks, addiction, phobias and grief. Currently, we are in the grip of an anxiety and social anxiety epidemic in children and young people generally and EMDR has proven to be effective in treating this. Research is supporting and documenting this rise. I am a Counselling Supervisor in Training, which means I can offer reduced rates to Counsellors seeking supervision.
